Centrum leads in open data

The Centrum District leads the way in making open data accessible, the organisation Hack de Overheid reports. The district council has passed a motion presented by Thijs Kleinpaste (D66) en Stefan de Bruijn (VVD) stating that making government data freely available should be the norm as much as possible by 2014. Initiatives on open data are taken in other parts of the city as well and this has a positive impact on other cities, Hack de Overheid says. However, the way in which data are presented can be improved.
