D66 alarmed: clocks indicate wrong time

15 January 2007 - It is ‘annoying’ that clocks in the Centre do not indicate the correct time. Thus says Rick ten Have, district council member for the Liberal Democrats (D66), in today’s de Telegraaf. He has written a paper calling on the district to solve the problem.

Passers-by interviewed by de Telegraaf are not impressed. One finds it charming that clocks indicate different times. Another calls Ten Have’s initiative ‘a non-starter - a waste of money’. Ten Have acknowledges that it is not an enormous problem. Still he does not accept it: “We all want the city to be ‘clean and whole’. This aspect, as small as it may be, needs to be part of that”.
